Each fall, we offer a community-based event with women-themed wines to raise funds to benefit AAUW-Bluegrass Central Branch scholarships. See more about the scholarships here (.pdf file) 2023 AAUW Scholarship Announcement.

Each spring, we partner with central Kentucky higher education institutions as well as business and industry to offer “Tech Savvy” for middle school girls and their parents/guardians.

The group also leads monthly gatherings of a Book Club which meets from 10-11:15 a.m. in the back room at Callie’s Restaurant, 447 Lexington Road, Versailles. The books are chosen each 12 months by a vote by book club members. Sandi Whitaker is Chair of the AAUW Book Club – she can be contacted via email at sandiwhitaker@bellsouth.net.
